Marquee Games — Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
What We Collect
Marquee Games collects only the minimal data needed to play and improve the game:
- Anonymous account ID — when the app or phone controller starts, Firebase signs the device in anonymously and assigns a random ID. This ID is not linked to any personal information (no name, no email, no phone number) and is used solely to authorize reads and writes to the game's data layer.
- Player names — entered voluntarily when joining a game. Stored only inside the active game room; cleared when a new game starts.
- Game state — scores, puzzle progress, and room codes stored temporarily in Firebase Realtime Database during active game sessions. Old rooms are deleted when a new game is created.
- Feedback you choose to send — if you submit feedback through the in-app FEEDBACK screen or the marquee.games/feedback web form, the message text and a timestamp are stored privately for our review. We do not require a name; submissions are stored as Anonymous unless you choose to add a name on the web form.
What We Don't Collect

Third-Party Services

Children's Privacy
Marquee Games does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The anonymous account ID is not tied to any identity. Player names and feedback messages are voluntary.
